In 1935, Antoni Benaiges is hired as a teacher in a small, isolated village in Burgos, Spain. There, he establishes an intense relationship with his little students whom he is able to inspire. To them, he makes a promise: he will take them to see the sea for the first time in their lives. 75 years later, a young woman who has set out in search of her grandfather's past comes across the wonderful, yet tragic story of his teacher. The movie received many Goya and Gaudí Award nominations, among them the ones for Best Actor.
